Quick Speaks on LB397

Monday’s Legislative Session ended with ongoing debate of LB397. Steve Stein has more. The bill, introduced by Senator Mike Moser (MOHZ-yur)  would repeal existing laws that have been unfunded for over twenty years regarding workplace safety programs. Dan Quick of Grand Island spoke against the bill.

The last appropriation was in 2003. The state hasn’t been enforcing it. Moser said these regulations are already in place through the federal government.
