Johnstown Road, south of US-30, will open Monday

Oct. 3, 2025 (Grand Island, Neb.) — Johnstown Road will be open to traffic on Monday, Oct. 6, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.

Werner Construction, of Hastings, will remove the existing barricades and traffic will resume on Johnstown Road through the new Intersection. Road work will continue on U.S. Highway 30 (US-30).

Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and put phones down.
