With the win, the Big Red moved to 34-6 (15-1 Big Ten) on the season, which is the best record through 40 games since 2002.
Hannah Coor went 2-for-4 with a home run to lead the Husker offense, and Hannah Camenzind added a triple. Jordy Frahm and Lauren Camenzind each contributed an RBI and Kacie Hoffmann and Samantha Bland each had a hit.

NU extended the lead to 2-0 in the top of the second on a Frahm RBI single that scored Hoffmann, who singled earlier in the inning.
The Big Red added another run to make the score 3-0 in the top of the sixth. Jensen walked and Kennadi Williams pinch ran for her. Williams stole second and eventually scored on a L. Camenzind single to left field.
Coor singled to open the top of the seventh and scored on a H. Camenzind triple to give Nebraska an insurance run and stretch the lead to 4-0.
